The Grand Hotel Europa in Innsbruck signifies the first step of expansion beyond the borders of Italy.

Since their establishment in Rome in 1999, the “Palenca Luxury Hotels” of the two Italian brothers Luciano and Stefano Palenca have combined exclusive hotels and premises in historic surroundings.

• 1999, Empire Palace: With 100 rooms and 10 suites, the first hotel facility of Palenca Luxury Hotels is accommodated in a prestigious “palace” dating from the year 1870 in the vicinity of the famous Via Veneto.
• 2002, Castello della Castelluccia: Medieval castle in the middle of a park; 23 rooms are furnished with antique four-poster beds and furniture from the 16th – 19th centuries.
• 2003, Hotel Art: Near the Spanish Steps in Rome; 46 rooms and suites divided on 4 floors. Each floor shines in a different shade of colour. The ornamental mouldings along the corridors are decorated with texts from Garcia Lorca and Octavio Paz.
• 2005, Congress Centre “Roma Eventi – Piazza di Spagna”: Multifunctional congress and event centre, amongst other things with an in-house theatre for 500 people, named after Frederico Fellini.
