The Grand Hotel Europa possesses with the in-house Europa Stüberl a top-class restaurant, which is known far beyond the borders of the Tyrolean provincial capital Innsbruck. The multiply award-winning cuisine spearheaded by Chef Roland Geisberger provides a change and superlative culinary variety. The two entrances – through the hotel lobby and externally via Brixner Straße – invite hotel guests as well as gourmets from near and far to indulge in regional delicacies and international creations daily between 11.30 – 14.00 and 18.30 – 22.00. The wine list convinces with its emphasis on first-class Austrian wines, and at the same time makes international vintners sit up and take notice with noble drops.
The Europa Stüberl constructed in Tyrolean style is in turn divided into five different parlours. The Alte Stube with space for up to 16 people stems from an over 200 year old South Tyrolean farmer’s parlour with wooden panelling and ornaments, which was stripped and reinstalled in original style in 1989. The Max Weiler Stube – named after the well-known Tyrolean painter – provides the largest space offer with 50 seating possibilities. A wine cabinet reinstalled in May 2008 represents the visual attraction of the parlour, which is decorated with light wood. Up to 35 people can be accommodated for all festivities at eight tables in the friendly Andreas Hofer Stube.
By way of only a few steps one enters the Hubertus Stube, which is distinguished through its special Tyrolean cosiness. Furnished with a tiled stove and original ceiling ornaments from a South Tyrolean guesthouse, this parlour welcomes up to 20 people to stay a while in a comfortable atmosphere. The Philippine Welser Stube completes the Europa Stüberl. In the course of the last renovations in May 2008 it was decorated for 16 people with new ornate murals.
